Policy Brief on Assistive Technology (AT) and Employment

This policy brief by ATscale and the International Labour Organization (ILO) highlights the crucial role of Assistive Technology (AT) in expanding employment opportunities for persons with disabilities. It discusses the barriers faced by both AT users in accessing and effectively utilizing AT for employment, and employers in providing or integrating AT for their employees.

The ILO / ATscale policy brief on AT and employment was launched at the 18th session of the Conference of State Parties to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, during the side event "Harnessing the power of assistive technology: addressing the disability employment gap in low- and middle-income countries."
