ITCILO launches summer school on social dialogue, industrial relations and due diligence
Organised with the support of the French Ministry of Labour, the course will examine the evolving role of industrial relations in global supply chains, with a particular focus on human rights due diligence.
Applications and a call for contributions are now open for the summer school on social dialogue, industrial relations and human rights due diligence. It takes place from 16 to 19 September 2025 at the International Training Centre of the ILO (ITCILO) in Turin.
The summer school is open to a broad range of participants, including representatives of employers’ and workers’ organizations, public officials involved in labour policy and practitioners working on national or international social dialogue. It also welcomes legal, economic and industrial relations experts; officials from the ILO and other international organizations; and academics and researchers specializing in corporate governance, human rights and industrial relations.
The programme will include a mix of lectures, case studies, participatory workshops and expert testimonials.
ITCILO invites researchers, practitioners and experts to submit proposals related to the theme of Industrial Relations and Due Diligence. This call aims to enrich both academic and practical discussions around the role of industrial relations in implementing vigilance and due diligence mechanisms in global supply chains, and to stimulate debate during the Summer School.
Interested candidates can submit their research proposal until 30 May 2025 on the event page.
