2024 Annual Report: Voluntary funding contributions to ILO development cooperation

The 2024 ILO report highlights voluntary funding contributions that support ILO development cooperation projects worldwide, promoting decent work and social justice.

In 2024, the ILO documented stable partnerships with development partners who continued contributing to the ILO’s work despite a turbulent economic situation and increasing demand and competition for development cooperation funding. New approvals of voluntary non-core funding reached US$ 392.5 million, one of the highest contributions over the past ten years.

The ILO also received US$ 16.6 million in Regular Budget Supplementary Account (RBSA) funds. The report also provides an overview of domestic, UN system, and International Financial Institutions contributions, as well as shifts in regional shares and thematic priorities.
